Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Till Count is a product of Streamline SMB, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information Till Count ("the App") uses, why, and your choices.

Information we use

  • Account information: your name, email address, and business name.
  • Merchant ID (Clover shops): used to link your Clover shop to your Till Count account.
  • Staff information: staff names, roles, and IDs, so each count shows who did it. On Clover, these come from your Clover employee list.
  • Cash payments and cash refunds (Clover shops): the amount, time, and who rang it up. Used only to work out the day's expected deposit.
  • Shop time zone (Clover shops): used to match counts and deposits to your shop's day.
  • What you enter in the App: counts, notes, withdrawals, cases, settings, and ideas you send us.
  • Technical information: which device a till is paired to, sign-in times, and IP addresses, used to keep your account secure.

What we do NOT access: card numbers or card details, customer records, inventory, or banking information.

Read-only: Till Count only reads from your Clover account. It never changes, adds, or deletes anything in Clover.

Waitlist form: if you fill it out, we collect your name, business name, email, phone (optional), which POS system you use, store and register counts, and your city/state (optional), only so we can contact you about Till Count and know which POS systems to support next.

How we use it

Only to run Till Count for you: guide counts, check deposits, keep your records, send the emails you need (like a set-password link), bill your plan, and give support. We never sell your information, and we never use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

We share information only with the services that help us run Till Count:

  • Clover, if you use Till Count on Clover.
  • Stripe, for card billing if you use Till Count without Clover. We never see or store your card number.
  • Our hosting, network, and email providers, to run the website and send emails.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

How we protect it

All connections use encryption (HTTPS). Your data is kept on access-controlled servers. Each merchant can see only its own data, and only the staff you allow can see your cash records.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. After you cancel, your records stay available for 30 days, then they are deleted for good, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your choices

You can remove Till Count from your Clover account at any time. You can also ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected].

Changes to this policy

If we make an important change, we will update this page and tell you before it takes effect.
